We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Optometric Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in staying organized, and can manage multiple tasks in a busy clinical environment.
As an Optometric Assistant, you will play an important role in creating a positive experience for our patients while supporting the doctor and ensuring the office runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients in a warm and professional manner
- Prepare patients for exams and assist with pre-testing
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records
- Support the doctor with clinical and administrative tasks
- Help manage patient flow and keep the schedule on track
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and stay focused in a fast-paced setting
- Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Previous experience in an optometry or medical office is preferred, but not required
- Availability to work on Saturdays
